KiniNews is now also available at: Spotify: https://mk.my/sH14qeJApple podcast: https://mk.my/jPylPZC[KiniNews] Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s former aide Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak has been cleared of alleged links to the Sabah mining scandal, after investigations revealed that no exploration licence was issued to a company owned by the businessperson.MACC chief Azam Baki told a press conference today that the investigation papers were submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers, which found that no charges can be brought against any party.Azam said that a company linked to Farhash had, in March 2023, applied for a mineral exploration licence to Sabah Mineral Management Sdn Bhd (SMM), but had failed to submit the requested documents.The application was terminated in March this year as a result.Meanwhile, in a separate story, Azam also said that the forfeiture of RM170 million in cash linked to graft allegations against Ismail Sabri Yaakob does not mean that no charges will be brought against the former premier.“We forfeited that RM170 million...
