Fears that Collooney Primary Care Centre will get left behind

Sligo County Council will write to the HSE to ask for the Primary Care Centre in Collooney to be upgraded.A number of primary care centres across Sligo, such as Drumcliffe and Grange, have seen significant work carried out in recent times, and are now operating at a higher standard with much better facilities.Currently, there are three GPs working out of the primary care centre in Collooney, serving the village and surrounding areas.With a big population increase expected in Collooney in the coming years, Fine Gael councillor Thomas Walsh says it's important that the local centre isn't left behind.
