Filabusi Adventures Ep 1

In this episode, I share a personal journey through my early childhood in Filabusi, Zimbabwe, a time marked by change, curiosity, and courage. As the first Black student at an all-white school, and the daughter of a dedicated nurse at the local hospital, I experienced the beauty and challenges of a new era after Zimbabwe’s liberation. From hospital adventures and playful moments with my “boy squad,” to facing racism, near-death experiences, and unforgettable birthday celebrations,these stories are filled with lessons that have stayed with me. I close the episode with five life lessons drawn from these formative years.
