Final adjustments to Sligo County Development Plan today

Councillors are set to make the final adjustments to the Sligo County Development Plan later today. The plan sets out various developments for the county between now and 2030. A number of amendments are to be voted on by local representatives today. Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh has reiterated his belief that as much land as is possible must be zoned for future housing development in County Sligo. He says with around 90 recommendations to get through, he feels that it could result in some mixed views:
