Financial Fridays: Mindset and Money Tips from Coach Colette and Sukhtej Singh
from Start Within w/Coach Colette · host Coach Colette Ellis
Did you know that November is National Diabetes Month? More than 88 million American adults have pre-diabetes, or blood sugar levels that are higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetes. The percentages of US adults living with diagnosed or undiagnosed diabetes is 22% in the Latinx community, 20% in the Black community, and 19% in the Asian community. This is something that we need to take seriously. In this week's episode of Financial Fridays, we look at the broader implications of lifestyle choices and habits that can raise your risk of becoming pre-diabetic or of getting Type 2 Diabetes. As Thanksgiving and the holidays approach, have you been thinking: What's the best way to celebrate? What’s the best way to gather in ways that are safe? In this week's Unplugged segment, Coach Colette gets personal about her own concerns and fears about meeting up with her family. To help alleviate feelings of confusion and doubt, as well as anxiety and fear, she also shares some EFT-Tapping exercises you can use to calm your nerves as you make decisions about the upcoming week. We also want to wish you and yours an early Happy Thanksgiving! May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you be loved.
