Finding Herself After Divorce: Deborah's Story

from A Rainbow In The Storm · host Katharine & Seth Sullivan-Dawes

Katharine and Seth are back after a rejuvenating spring break and they’re thrilled to have Deborah Sabalusky on the podcast this week! Deborah faced a dark night of the soul when her relationship of almost 15 years fell apart in front of her eyes. The dream home, family, and life she had imagined was stripped from her and it left her contemplating who she really was, what she truly wanted, where to go from here, and how to raise a young daughter in the midst of it all. To add insult to injury her beloved cat of 18 years died, and then she was injured in a car accident. All of this led to Deborah taking her life back and charting a new course for herself. We hope you enjoy hearing Deborah’s story and are inspired by her journey from devastation to reclamation. A little bit about Deborah: Deborah Sabalusky shares about the gift of self-discovery she's experienced while simultaneously healing through the grief of losing a beloved pet, divorce while raising a young child, and processing the pains and dreams of childhood through motherhood. Mind/body practices like meditation, breath work and yoga helped her reconnect with her authentic child-like self, to find true love within herself, with life, and in relationship with a partner she met by following her calling.  Deborah launched SOLful Living to offer guided meditations after receiving a calling to lead meditations. Deborah hopes that by sharing her story and unique approach to meditation with continuous grounding cues, other women will find comfort in reconnecting with their body and soul, discover safety and security within, and lead a vibrant, fulfilling life.  If you liked this episode or any others, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, subscribe, or share this podcast with a friend.
