Do you need to leave your role in order for your career in treasury to flourish?   Dennis Baljeu, Executive Director, Treasury at Vanderlande, joins The Treasury Career Corner this week to discuss why it’s OK to stay in one role long enough to master your craft. Plus, he takes us through his career, shares his views on technology and automation and leaves some excellent advice for young treasurers. Dennis began his career as an intern with ASML before taking on roles in SAP Implementation and later becoming Treasury Manager and Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Risk and Cash Management. He joined Vlisco Group as Corporate Treasurer before taking his current role as Executive Director, Treasury, at Vanderlande in February 2016. Dennis has Business Economics degrees from the HZ University of Applied Sciences and Tilburg University.
