Finding Your Way

Born the son of a Ph.D. historian and homeschooled for most of my childhood, I was fortunate to grow up steeped in the story of humankind. When I wasn’t drawing, reading, or inventing, I was asking questions. This instilled in me a passion for discovering the transcendent through the unique expression of every individual. 

As an entrepreneur and innovator with a track record of successful advertising campaigns and product launches for leading social ventures and NGOs, I’ve developed a high level of proficiency across multiple disciplines including brand identity, product development, event production, and digital strategy.

From 2014-2021 I grew and scaled a niche marketing firm for social impact entrepreneurs and leading nonprofits from 2 to 12 employees. I served as Creative Director and CEO, leading a diverse team from early startup to successful company exit. Concurrently, I Co-Founded and sold a creative professional network, and leveraged partnerships with top international NGOs to host a premium leadership summit. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the business side of creative work, as well as the superpower healthy, trusting teams wield in accomplishing the hard work of invention.

My fascination with how stories and symbols bring us together evolved into a love of brand narrative across all media. My work brings together strategic insights, market analysis, and a studied application of the universal archetypes that move us. This allows my clients to claim meaningful territory in the psyche of their audience.

Most days you’ll find me cooking with my wife, Augusta, and my son Marcellino VI. They are the heart and soul of my life. I love Spartan races, brazilian jujitsu, Shakespeare plays, and poetry. Some might say that’s a strange combination, but such people probably haven’t read the Iliad.
