Fine Gael select candidates for local elections in Manorhamilton Municipal District

Fine Gael members have selected the party’s candidates for the upcoming local elections in the Manorhamilton Municipal District. Caitríona Bergin and Kevin Comiskey were selected by local party members at Sunday night’s convention at the Bee Park Community Centre and will be put forward on the Fine Gael ticket. The elections are due to be held in June of next year. Caitríona Bergin, a former Head of Women’s Rugby with the IRFU is relishing the prospect of the local election. While Kevin Comiskey, a former IFA sheep committee chairperson says he will give his best for the people of north Leitrim.
