Fire fighters battling blaze in Sligo

Fire fighters are currently battling a blaze in Sligo town. The fire broke out at a business premises on O’Connell Street this morning. Emergency services are at the scene with O’Connell Street currently closed. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes until the road reopens. There are no reports of any injuries. Sinn Fein Cllr Arthur Gibbons was in town earlier shortly after the alarm was raised.
