First15 Conversations: Jerrad Lopes

from First15 Devotional · host First15

Today I am so excited to share a conversation that Josh and I recently had with Jerrad Lopes, who is a father, author, and founder of the Dad Tired ministry. These times of social distancing are presenting unique challenges to all of us, and men and fathers are no different. From hardships with financial provision in the unsure economy, to unique family and marital dynamics, this pandemic is producing unprecedented challenges.  Jerrad is someone I look to personally for wisdom and insight into how to be a better spiritual leader in my family and work.   And in our conversation we talk vulnerably about the difficulties, temptations, and opportunities we have as men in this unprecedented time. My hope and prayer is that our discussion would encourage you personally or give you a sense of empathy and compassion for those around you today. Marathi Aarti Sangrah | मराठी आरती संग्रह Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited Aarti (आरती) is a devotional song sung to show devotion towards a deity and to Glorify a deity. Aarti is sung during Ritual of Aarti, in which flame is offered to deity. Aarti is a Hindi word and it is also spelled Arti, Arati or Arathi. The word Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word Aratrika (आरात्रिक), which means something that removes darkness. MRE Podcast MRE Podcast This is a daily devotional podcast for those who want more of God's Word each day. I read the Word and share my insights from the Word. You might ask why do I do this? In the wilderness, the Israelites had to depend on daily mana from heaven to live. They couldn't eat yesterday's nor keep them for the next day. They always lived on the fresh mana each day. We also need to live by the fresh word of God each day. However, often we skip a meal and live on the past encounters with God. Someone of us gets too busy to eat or someone us do not know how or where to start. We need fresh encounters each day with the Lord so that the love of Christ will overflow to others. That's what I am doing, doing my quiet time and feasting and sharing the food with people. Join the Lord's table with me!
