Nel 2025, sulle dichiarazioni relative all’anno d’imposta 2024, i redditi dichiarati in Italia hanno raggiunto i 1.076,3 miliardi di euro, in crescita del 4,7% rispetto all’anno precedente (+48,6 miliardi), con un reddito medio salito a 25.820 euro (+4%). L’aumento si inserisce in un contesto macroeconomico moderato, con Pil nominale a +2,8%, crescita reale dello 0,8% e inflazione all’1%, in forte calo rispetto al 2023. A trainare i redditi è anche l’occupazione: i contribuenti con reddito da lavoro dipendente sono aumentati di oltre 348 mila unità (+1,5%) e il loro reddito complessivo è cresciuto del 5,6%. In particolare, i lavoratori a tempo indeterminato (17,9 milioni) registrano un +1,6% con un reddito medio di 27.676 euro (+4%), mentre i contratti a termine (6,2 milioni) crescono dell’1,1% con reddito medio di 11.375 euro (+3,9%). Anche i redditi da pensione salgono a 325,5 miliardi (+5,5%), con un lieve aumento dei pensionati (+0,2%). Dal lato fiscale, emerge che l’84,6% dell’Irpef è pagata da dipendenti e pensionati, mentre il ceto medio (redditi tra 35mila e 70mila euro) contribuisce per oltre un terzo del gettito. Si riduce invece il peso relativo dei redditi più alti: lo 0,2% dei contribuenti con oltre 300mila euro dichiara il 6,6% dell’imposta totale, in calo rispetto al 7,1% dell’anno precedente, e solo il 3,3% supera i 75mila euro. Resta ampia la platea di chi non paga Irpef: 8,7 milioni di contribuenti hanno imposta netta zero, che diventano oltre 11,3 milioni considerando anche chi è compensato da bonus e crediti. Infine continua a crescere il regime forfettario (flat tax), che supera i 2 milioni di aderenti (+3,3%), confermandosi una delle principali alternative al sistema Irpef ordinario.
