‘Fittest Man on Earth’ Rich Froning on Finding Faith & a New Identity in Christ | Christian Huff

Christian is incredibly excited to speak with Rich Froning, the first person to win the title of "Fittest Man on Earth" after winning first place in the 2011 to 2014 CrossFit Games. Rich talks about where he gets his motivation to compete at such a high level, including a lot of busywork chores when he was growing up and having 25 male cousins who were always competing. Rich admits that as he gets older, he's not as interested in team competition and chooses to prioritize his family. While winning is certainly fun, the physical and emotional toll the training and competition takes is tough. Rich also recalls how placing second in the CrossFit Games was his rock bottom and a wake-up call that CrossFit had become not just his identity but an idol in his life.
