Last year April, the crew at SATURATE! hosted a remix competition with Quebec-based Riddim mastermind, FLIX. “MAG 1001” saw FLIX take a different approach to production, showcasing FLIX’s versatility and ability to traverse the bassweight side of Dubstep. Our winner of the FLIX “MAG 1001” clash is no stranger to SATURATE!, and has a bit of community lore based around him - it's Kunas, who continues to prove his own versatility while refining the signature KUNAS SOUND which is so distinctive in each of his works. Kunas converts a hedonistic, gritty banger into a spiritual dive exploring melancholy and captivating the signature minimalism and swagger distinct of Kunas' style. Smoky, emotive, yet sly, smooth as velvet and rugged as the ends.
