Ostern! Höchste Zeit, dass unsere kleine Plüschratte ein paar Ostereier bemalt. Fünf Eier hat sein bester Freund Tilly mit einem Strohhalm ausgepustet. Leider ist Manfred beim Bemalen schon eins kaputt gegangen. Gerade will er so ein richtig schönes Rot auf das Ei malen, als er ein kleines bisschen zu doll aufdrückt und - zawusch - er das zweite Ei schrottet. Tilly muß her! Tilly beruhigt ihn und verspricht, zwei neue Eier auszupusten. Schon rückt Manni mit der Frage raus, die ihn am meisten beschäftigt: Gibt es den Osterhasen? Und Tilly - ganz Psychologe - antwortet ihm: "Alles was Du Dir in Deinem Kopf vorstellen kannst, existiert auch für Dich! Dann glaubst Du daran! Das nennt man Phantasie. Laß Dir Deine Phantasie nie verbieten! Du kannst Dir vorstellen, was immer Du möchtest und kannst glauben, woran Du willst, solange Du weder Dich noch Andere dabei gefährdest und Dir klar ist, dass es Deine Phantasie ist!" Die Traumreise geht diesmal ins Zuhause des Osterhasen, einem Ei mit Türen und Fenstern inmitten von Blumenwiesen. Und was macht der Osterhase? Klar, auch er bemalt Ostereier.
