Food, Lesson 8 Intermediate level

from The Arabic We Speak · host Dalal & Amani

In this episode you hear Amani tell you what she likes to order when she goes out for dinner. In Amman is it not strange if you go out for dinner and order mostly side dishes. Cheese pastries, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, green beans braised in olive oil and chicken liver soaked in pomegranate molasses, yum! When we go out for dinner we feast on ten different side dishes and skip the main dishes and order dessert. Our side dishes are very filling and sometimes we prefer that to ordering one main dish.  Don't forget the worksheet: https://bit.ly/The-Arabic-We-Speak-Intermediate-Food-08 Learn everyday Levantine Arabic by listening to our podcasts that are organized in lesson series form.
