For some of us, it takes bravery to be honest...

from Let Me Tell You Something · host Carly, Lei, & Mo

Thank you so much for tuning into our small, mighty, but hopefully promising podcast. Let Me Tell You Something was designed to give two women of color the space to exist in all our splendor, to be fully human. So as you listen, it may feel like you’re eavesdropping in our two women in a café, or emergency room, or two moms sharing a flask in a PTA meeting. Keep in mind, we are not experts at LIFE, just experts in living our own lives. In some of these conversations we will be wrong, maybe even loud and wrong, but we leave space to have our perspectives challenged and possibly shifted. Every episode has one intention: push each other out of the comfort of living on autopilot through honest conversations, and we hope that by listening it does the same for you. After all, every great conversation starts with “Girl, Let ME Tell You Something…” Our first episode is finally here! We're discussing what it means to be "nice" and also how honesty is always the best policy when it comes to your needs. We hope you enjoy it and that it's helpful when you're having a hard time being honest and speaking YOUR truth! We'll be releasing a new episode each week with a new challenge, so let us know how this episode helps you and how you do on this week's challenge: Pick a moment where you speak up and/or use your "30 Seconds of Bravery"!
