Forgiveness

from Road To Life Podcast · host Pastor Dave Gargano

Have you ever carried the heavy burden of unforgiveness, feeling trapped by the offenses of others? In this powerful sermon, Pastor Dave dives deep into the biblical story of Joseph—a man who endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment yet emerged victorious because of how he chose to handle his offenses. Pastor Dave emphasizes that unforgiveness is not just about others; it's a condition that affects our own spirit, hindering us from stepping into the full potential God has for our lives. With dynamic energy, Pastor Dave encourages the congregation to recognize their own need for forgiveness and healing, reminding them that even in moments of offense, God is orchestrating a path toward their ultimate destiny. Using vivid examples from Joseph’s life and the principle of laying aside grudges, Pastor Dave reveals how true freedom comes when we let go—saying, “release it.” This message invites you to examine the relationships in your life and challenges you to embrace a posture of forgiveness, ushering in God’s favor. Are you ready to break free from the chains of bitterness? Don’t miss the chance to experience a transformation; listen to the full sermon and discover the keys to unlocking your destiny!Genesis 45:3-4 3 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. 4 And Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.14 Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. 15 Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.5 But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.7 And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
