After nearly two decades in policing, he took the risk of leaving behind a secure career to build a business of his own. The journey was far from easy. The 2008 financial crisis devastated his first venture, forcing him to rebuild from scratch. Years of pressure, financial uncertainty and constant travel took a heavy toll, contributing to two heart attacks while growing the company. Throughout it all, he remained driven by a desire to provide for his family and create something lasting for the next generation.Today, alongside his son and daughter, Eddie leads a highly respected security business staffed by former Special Forces operators, detectives and security professionals.As the company enters its next phase of growth, he reflects on entrepreneurship, leadership, family, health, and the lessons learned from spending a lifetime operating in some of the most demanding environments imaginable.This is the story of Mr Eddie Gilmour.
