The pastor of three Milwaukee churches, Father was homeschooled by his mom, Colleen, who took her six children to daily Mass. In today's episode, Father Philip shares experiences from his childhood that influenced his discernment and offers excellent advice for encouraging vocations and faithfulness in your children. In our interview, Father offers personal reflections on how the family can best create an environment for vocational discernment and faithfulness, including: Place a great emphasis on teaching and living the Catholic faith in your time with your children. Promote interaction with priests and monks; invite them to dinner and visit monasteries. Encourage your children in discernment awareness and virtue creation: "Do what you are doing and do it well and through it all, remain close to the Lord, and He will lead you."
