Free Love

Free love didn’t always refer to a sexually active lifestyle…with many casual partners and little to no commitment. That’s what it meant in the 1960’s and 70’s. In the 19th century, the Free Love Movement promoted the idea of removing the state from decisions about marriage, sex and fidelity. Sounds tame now. Then, it’s advocates were called sex radicals.
