Similarly, many of us hang onto our traditional apostate or pagan beliefs and deep-seated prejudices long after we have come to a knowledge of the truth.  "Don't live in the past. Live your life for today. God bless Brother Sowders, Brother Goodwin, and all the great men who laid the foundation. But you have to live today, facing problems that never existed in Peter's time, or Brother Goodwin's.
