The spirit of bondage leads to fear, while the spirit of adoption brings freedom and a new relationship with God. As children of God, we have rights and responsibilities, and we can approach God with boldness and seek His guidance. Salvation is not just about being set free from sin, but also about being brought into a new relationship with God and His kingdom. Through spiritual adoption, we become children of God and inherit all the blessings and privileges that come with it. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, giving us confidence and assurance in our relationship with Him. We are called to put to death the deeds of our sinful nature and be led by the Spirit in order to live according to God's will. As children of God, we have access to His promises and should walk in the rights and responsibilities that come with our adoption. Sound Bites "This is a book about living according to the Spirit of God." "God says, I want to empower you. I want to put you on a path to enable you to do what you could never" "You have to be changed in order to become part of this family" Show Notes Enjoyed this message?
