With national leadership experience across healthcare, manufacturing, and advertising, Lisa is known for practical, common sense solutions that deliver strong results. She is respected for total value decision making, empowering strategic partnerships, and connecting community priorities with effective policy outcomes. At Council, Lisa’s focus areas include expanding access to housing through responsible, community-led growth management, supporting Burlington’s local business economy, and strengthening climate resiliency. Recent accomplishments in housing include advancing Burlington’s Housing Accelerator Fund initiatives, supporting streamlined approvals, a refreshed Community Engagement Charter and measures to increase accountability and trust at City Hall. Lisa actively engages residents through community updates, neighbourhood pop-ups, walking tours, town halls, and an online newsletter to ensure transparency and connection to City Hall decisions. At City Hall, Lisa previously served as Audit Committee Chair since 2020 and Budget Chair in various years. She serves on Committee of the Whole and acts as Council liaison to several advisory committees, including the School Traffic Safety and Mobility Committee. Lisa serves on the Boards of Halton Regional Police Services, Burlington Downtown Business Association, Burlington Public Library, and Art Gallery Burlington, with past service on the Joseph Brant Hospital Board, Centre for Skills and Development Training, Burlington Food Bank, and United Way Campaign Cabinet.
