From Olympic Gold To Finding You - Amy Truesdale MBE, Paralympic Taekwondo Champion

MY FIRST OLYMPIAN! Geek mode engaged, or so I thought until I met the human behind the medal. Amy Truesdale is a multi-medal Taekwondo champion, and in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris reached the pinnacle of her sport by winning gold for Great Britain. At 31, she felt that she finally had the world at her feet having pushed through life-long adversity, but the view she saw at the top wasn't what she was expecting. This conversation goes deep, and has us both thinking about key questions we all face such as 'why are we here?', 'what's next?' and 'Was the reward worth the sacrifice?'.
