From Pressure to Purpose: Releasing the Need to Be Meaningful + Living A Life of Surrender

Welcome back! Today we are asking ourselves the question if what we are building, is it kingdom-building or self-building? Especially when the things we are building look good on paper, like launching a coaching business or a podcast or even hosting retreats. The original idea came from some thoughts that I had been wrestling with personally, like how do I discern if I am making life about me, my wishes, my dreams, my desires or if I’m making life about him and building His kingdom. Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto." When we can give up our need to be meaningful and be impactful, we can learn to live a life of surrender and ultimately trust God to our desires as we build His kingdom. Amen? Because here is the truth, you are already meaningful. Not because you did something big, but because you are already fully loved, fully chosen and fully enough in Christ.
