She moved to Toronto to attend College. For sixteen years she enjoyed a successful career as an independent sales agent.In 1990, Catherine shifted careers. For almost 20 years she worked as a 2nd Assistant Director in the film and television industry. In 2002, she optioned a novel, wrote the screenplay, and produced the film, "Some Things That Stay."Catherine divides her time between North Kawartha, Toronto, and California but Kingston, Ontario will always be her home. The sudden loss of her parents and youngest sister, Julie, compelled her to write her first book, "Breathe Cry Breathe", published by HarperCollins Canada. Although she misses the adrenalin rush of working in the film industry, Catherine hopes to continue on her writing path of nonfiction books.
