From Spare Room Facials to Global Educator

from The Affluent CEO Show: She didn't build the wrong life. She just built it as the wrong woman. · host Yuliana Francie

In this episode, I sit down with Isabella Loneragan, a powerhouse in the skin health space whose journey proves that passion, persistence, and practice can transform not just a career—but lives. Isabella started in 2007 as a mature-age beauty student in South Africa, running facials from a spare room in her home. Her curiosity and love for skin led her into the world of dermatology, where she spent five years learning directly in consulting rooms alongside top doctors. While she absorbed priceless knowledge, she realized the medical model felt too transactional—patients left with prescriptions but not the connection or care they craved. That insight became the foundation for her first business, The Dermal Diary. With a reputation for results, clients quickly followed her, and soon she was treating serious skin conditions through touch-based therapies rather than medication. Her journey took her to Paris, where she mastered advanced buccal facial massage, later trademarking her own method, The Intrinsic Facial. Today, Isabella runs clinics in Sydney and Bowral, leads a thriving skincare brand, and trains therapists worldwide through her education programs. She has taught over 300 practitioners to guide them on the path to mastery. Beyond technique, Isabella opens up about mindset, imposter syndrome, and the reality of carrying the financial weight of her family while working alongside her husband. She shares how clear roles, mutual respect, and low ego make their partnership thrive—both in business and at home. Her story is one of resilience, reinvention, and relentless upskilling. Whether she’s reducing acne for a model whose career depends on it or empowering a therapist to master her signature facial, Isabella’s mission is clear: to connect, to heal, and to help others believe in themselves. 👉 Tune in to hear how skin health, entrepreneurship, and personal growth intertwine—and walk away inspired to invest in your craft, trust your vision, and never stop learning. 5If this episode is hitting ... it's not random. You're ready for the next version of you. Start here: https://yulianafrancie.com/embody/
