I venture into the haunted Morey's Copes on the Isle of Wight to take some time out to visit the Nine Sacred Herbs. In this I read out the sacred charm and what they represent. This is clearly older than the Christianisation of the Anglo-saxon people and it is a beautiful and lovely bit of poetry.
