It's emerged that a shortage of beef supplies in the north west and elsewhere will result in further price increases.Current supplies do not meet the ever-growing demand for beef products.While adverse weather conditions have been blamed for recent reduced kill numbers with snow and ice causing logistical challenges in getting cattle transported to factories.IFA Connacht Chairperson, Brendan Golden says the sector remains in a strong position:
