South Africa’s Water Research Commission is hosting the Gender, Water and Development Conference from today until Friday this week. The conference which is taking place at the East London International Convention Center in the province of Eastern Cape is themed “The Untapped Connection”. The five day conference aims to unpack issues connected to water scarcity as well as gender intervention in the water sector. The conference is hosted in partnership with the Department of Water and Sanitation of South Africa, African Ministers’ Council On Water (AMCOW), Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Women for Water Partnership. To assist us to unpack this subject we are closing live to the East London International Convention Center. There we have:
