Eastern Georgia sees similar warmth — 83 degrees by afternoon. Morning fog clears fast, then a slight chance of thunderstorms pops up between 60 degrees and 3 P.M. Overnight lows settle around 63. Saturday brings more of the same — low 80s with scattered afternoon showers and storms. South winds gust to 20 miles an hour. Saturday night, storm chances jump to 70 percent as a weak front slides through. Sunday turns unsettled. Showers and thunderstorms likely statewide, with highs dropping to the mid-70s in Atlanta. The coast stays warmer near 83. Early next week keeps the pattern going — daily chances for showers and storms, with highs in the upper 70s to mid-80s.
