May is a great time to apply Nitro-Phos Superturf thought to give your lawn the slow release nitrogen it needs all summer long.May is also a great time to apply the Nitro-Phos Barricade Pre-Emergent herbicide.We've had some good rainfalls to the south as well as to the north of Houston. Please remember that your grass needs an inch of water a week, either from the sky or from irrigation.It's also time to be mowing your lawn at least once a week. You can replace your grass in a more affordable way and also install shade tolerant grass where it's needed by combining Raleigh St. Augustine with Palmetto St. Augustine. We're also selling Palmetto St. Augustine by the piece during the last couple of days of the week. Please call us before you come to our office to check availability.A good way to measure the sunlight your lawn gets through the day is to use your phone to take pictures of your lawn every hour through the day.
