Daniel has been with the Jimmy Fund Clinic for more than 13 years. He volunteered at a camp for multi handicapped children as college student and feltblessed helping children and families. He changed careers because of that experience. Daniel has been on 12 Spring Training trips. What makes the Spring Training weekend so special, according to David is strangers becoming close friends in just a few days. Only another teenage with cancer knows what a teenager with cancer is going through. Seeing the teenage patients together as they almost forget about cancer for a weekend is fantastic and it’s gratifying to see happy joyful kids all weekend. Dan feels blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of the patients and families, and to have the opportunity to work with such amazingly dedicated fellow nurses, doctors and administrative staff. He says it’s the best work position he’s ever had.
