Zara is 4 years old and was diagnosed with B cell-acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November of 2020. Her diagnosis came after having recurrent fevers and and fatigue for 1 month with no lab abnormalities initially and no likely explanation. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and it will continue for 2 years. Zara loves to read, draw, dress up like Elsa, and play with her cousins. She will be starting pre-K this fall.
