Gino Odjick on The Cam and Strick Podcast

Gino Odjick may come across like an absolute psycho on the ice, but he's one of the most popular players amongst his teammates to ever play in the NHL. Known for his toughness and willingness to literally go toe-to-toe with anybody, Odjick was an example for many people who grew up on the Native Reserve just like he did. Overcoming the odds and making it to the NHL is a story in and of itself, lasting as long as he did is nearly a miracle. This guy had a great career anyone, no matter where you come from, any player can be proud of. He's without question the most popular enforcer to ever play for the Vancouver Canucks, but he was more than just a fighter. He was the ultimate protector for his teammates, specifically Hall of Famer Pavel Bure. You touch Pavel Bure, you might as well leave the game because he's coming.
