"Girls Cheat on Me All the Time. Is It Time to Accept That It's All My Fault?"
from You Don’t Know Anything About Women: Dating Stories and Advice · host Roy Calvin | Dating Advice
Here's who I'm giving REAL dating advice for men to in this episode:- A guy who keeps getting cheated on and thinks it's all his fault (he might have a point).- A guy whose girlfriend told him she used to sext with a guy who was in a relationship.- A guy who wants to know if it's a good idea to date a girl who is mentally ill and hates him.- An overreactive guy who left a girl he was literally in bed with because she started saying they should just be friends.- A guy searching for a nerdy girl and not finding any where he thought they'd be (unsurprisingly to me).Subscribe for more Reddit dating stories, dating advice for men, and dating tips.Message me or support the show: https://linktr.ee/roycalvinDating lessons from this episode:If you keep getting cheated on, look for warning signs instead of becoming controlling. Being cheated on is not your fault, but repeated bad experiences may mean you are missing red flags or choosing low-quality women. Do not turn into a jealous, overbearing boyfriend; learn to read women better and detach more early on.Do not tell a woman that cheating would completely break you. Saying “if you cheat on me, I’ll be broken” gives her too much power and makes you look weak. Even if that is honestly how you feel, keep it to yourself and avoid making cheating paranoia the center of the relationship.A two-month relationship is too new to let cheating destroy your whole mindset. Cheating still sucks, but after only two months, the woman is basically still a stranger. Do not let a short dating situation convince you that every future relationship will end the same way.Use cheating experiences to become less reactive, not more paranoid. Instead of checking phones, acting jealous, or assuming every woman will betray you, use the experience to stay calmer and less overinvested. Trust women until they give you a real reason not to, and enjoy the relationship while it is good.A woman sexting a man who was in a relationship is not automatically your problem. The person in the relationship is the one responsible for protecting it. Her past behavior may show questionable judgment, but the bigger issue is whether she gives you confidence that she would not do something similar again.“I’m human and flawed” is a bad answer when you ask if she would repeat shady behavior. If a woman says she would not want to do something again but cannot clearly say she would never do it, that can feel like a red flag. Listen to whether her answer makes you more or less attracted to her.Do not date a woman with major mental health problems if she is already showing chaos. Bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, random hate, and anger over slow replies are a bad combination early in dating. If the warning signs are already there after two months, the relationship is likely to get worse. If a woman gives mixed signals in bed, do not panic and leave too quickly. Some women create back-and-forth before sex because they want more comfort, effort, or reassurance. If she says “maybe we should just be friends” while already in bed with you, stay calm and lead instead of overreacting.Do not confuse normal sexual hesitation with rejection. Pulling back, asking questions, or saying uncertain things before sex does not always mean she wants everything to stop. Take a breath, respond confidently, and understand that some back-and-forth is part of the process. To find girls your type, stop over-filtering and start approaching more women. Nerdy girls are not always hiding in bookstores or gaming shops, and your ideal type may show up anywhere. Approach women who are cute enough, warm up socially, and stop using “she is not my type” as an excuse to avoid talking to women.
