Goals of Care Conversations

Dr. Andy Lawton, a palliative care physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital shares with host, Joyce Zhou, the REMAP framework for having effective goals of care conversations with patients with serious illness. Dr. Lawton offers sample language on key components of goals of care conversations such as how to discuss prognoses, respond to emotions, and ask about values.
