God Wants to Protect Us in Our Relationships

He tells us to follow certain rules to protect us, to protect others, and to keep us on the path he wants us to be on. Think of it like this, when we ask our kids to make sure their homework is done, is it just to give rules? No, it’s to make sure they don’t fall behind, to keep them from failing, even to keep them from messing thing up for themselves later in life. God is like this. He loves us and he wants good things for us. He doesn’t want us to create bigger problems for ourselves.  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭97‬-‭104‬ ‭CSB‬‬”How I love your instruction!
