Government asked again to invest in N17

Further calls have been made for the government to invest in the N17.The road was due to be invested in last year, but the plans were suspended by Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan.The calls have been made amid a sharp rise in road deaths in 2024, including a crash outside Claremorris that claimed the lives of a Donegal woman and her two children at the end of March.Sinn Fein local election candidate for Ballymote Tubbercurry, Jason Gorman, says that it shows that the North West has been forgotten about again.
