In our latest podcast, we speak with Steve Hemming, Head of Planning, Development & Regeneration, Mary-Jane O'Neill, Head of Planning and special guest Roger Barrett, Group Land & New Homes Director at Connells, about why Government must tackle planning reform.  This is in response to recent survey findings which show that the prevailing planning system is the largest single obstacle to residential development. 68 per cent of respondents to our Residential Development Survey, which canvassed the views of housebuilders, developers, investors, professional services and public sector bodies, identified the “challenging, time consuming and costly” system as the top issue facing the delivery of new homes.
