This month, in celebration of Women’s History Month—and with #IWD2025 in focus, we set out to collect real, raw, unscripted voice notes. These stories reaffirm what we’ve always known—generosity is limitless. It started with a simple WhatsApp message, @Bidemi sent out a call, asking friends and networks to share small or big “generosity moments” by women in their lives. With consent to share, the message traveled further, passed from one person to another, and before we knew it, voice notes began to pour in. Today, we’ve compiled—and are still compiling—these powerful reflections into a growing playlist, soon to be available on YouTube and our podcast platforms, launching March 8 on International Women’s Day.✨ But while you wait for the big release, we’ll be sharing daily gratitude notes; short, heartfelt stories of kindness, mentorship, and love that have transformed lives. Here’s our honest advice:🎧 Imagine these voice notes as messages sent to you. Before your morning coffee, hear the voices of women lifting other women. Before you go to bed, [starting today, we hope] listen to stories that prove generosity is everywhere. And the best part? This is just the beginning. As more voice notes roll in, so will this playlist.💌 Want to add your voice to the #WomenGive movement? We’d love to hear from you. Send us a voice note at [email protected] or visit https://mygivingstory.africa/womengive/ to get started!
