We’re happy to freshen up another week start of yours! This time with the support of an uprising talent from Zurich behind the bar counter: Soma Soul’s Greek Paloma got it good…fasten your seatbelt for this energy bomb! Hailing from Zurich, Soma Soul combines cinematic sounds with techno and electronica in his productions. His pure love for melancholic melodies and subtle rhythms are a perfect setting to get your body & soul connected. Etymologists amongst us may have spotted a hint for that aspiration by the artist's name: Soma means 'Body' in old Greek - as well as 'a ritual drink that can create euphoria' in the ancient language Sanskrit. Despite his southern Italian origins, Sicily to be precise, it is the Nordic kind of mystic & cold rural areas that are Soma Soul’s preferred destinations to seek inspiration for his music. His debut EP has been released in 2018 on Jonas Rathsman's 'Elements' imprint and quickly created a buzz on dancefloors around the world while being played & supported by the likes of &ME, BOg, Villanova and many more. With his past and upcoming productions on labels such as ATLANT, Hoito, Endless, Endangered or Radiant, Soma Soul's continues to move bodies & souls - with music beyond any genres. It was his extraordinary hymn named “Eclipse”, out on Swiss Label Radiant last year, that got our attention, and goose bumps!
