Grief: Walking Through Your Pain & Breathing Again

from Fierce · host Katelyn Swiatek

Grief is a powerful emotion that every human being has had to come face to face with. The question is - how do we handle it? In this podcast, I speak with Jess Lohmeyer about the unspeakable grief that she has had to face in her life, loosing a child. Many of us say..."I can't imagine." Well, no we can't, unless we have been through this painful situation ourselves. Join me as Jess shares the rawest parts of herself and how she walked through and walks through the pain of her daughter's loss in her life. What I admire most about Jess, is that despite the despair that has come, she has fought for her family, heart and mind. She is a testament of what overcoming looks like. She is an inspriation to me and I hope that she is to you, too! Be sure to check out Jess's blog about her healing journey: http://heatherfaithlohmeyer.blogspot.com/2018/02/life-doesnt-have-to-be-perfect-to-be.html?m=1 Thank you to the amazing Christian artist, Miles Minnick, for allowing me to use his song, "W.Y.T" for this podcast.
