Summary
Message by Bob Crosthwaite, Pastor Emeritus *Somewhere along the way we’ve normalized the abnormal. “Work-life balance” VS. “Life-work clarity”. Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny. (R.W. Emerson) Christian Character is formed through a lifelong process that begins at the “new birth” experience. Character transformation takes time. Pressure situations have a way of bringing out the best (or the worst) in every human being. Deuteronomy 8:2 God is more concerned with our “character transformation” than our “success rate”. Romans 5:3-4 When we glorify God in our earthly bodies, we make this world a better place. Christian character is not something that’s painted on the outside; it’s something that is formed from deep within.
