In this Muslim revert story Kareem shares how attending his first Friday prayer out of curiosity led him to taking his shahada and becoming a Muslim.Before Kareem reverted to Islam he was a culturally Christian Cuban living in Canada who spent time in foster care with a practicing Christian family but never felt connected to the faith. He went to church for years but eventually fell off and lived a secular lifestyle in university.After his Libyan friend invited him to Jummah he was struck by the physical acts of worship, the cleanliness of wudu, and how the 20-minute Friday prayer taught him more than 6 hours of Sunday mass ever did.
