Harley is such an emotive character filled with life and an almost instantaneous reaction to the world outside of her. Is it challenging at all to write and draw a character like Harley? Outside of enjoying a great Harley story, which it is, what do you want readers to take from the work? Steve, your color work is astounding. Was it your intention to have the color transition from mostly black white and blue to much more striking use of color from the beginning or did it evolve as you progressed in the creative process? The ice cream shop scene is possibly my favorite and Harley’s friend is positively electric. So electric I have to ask, are these characters modeled after real people? And Steve, did you take any inspirations from real life people in your designs? The drag queen karaoke cabaret is fabulous and feels right at home for Harley. What are the chances we get a tie-in comic or series to further their adventures? I won’t spoil a thing here, but is there any chance for a sequel? This ending is so perfect for one! Is there a hero from DC, or any other publisher, that deserves (or you’d like to work on) a young adult high school graphic novel? Are there any other projects you’re working on you’d like to talk about? Superfight: Who would win a surfing competition, Black Panther or Catwoman? Mariko and Steve tell us what they think!

Special guests Mariko Tamaki and Steve Pugh discuss their new YA graphic novel Harley: Breaking Glass. Plus we recap the biggest comic book news of the week and make our picks for best books of last week and a look ahead to next week.

Same format, the same humour, and poking more fun at the woke entertainment industry. The ongoing battle between "woke" players, big studios, shady producers, and major corporations trying to buy pop culture influence, has turned into a culture war. On one side, there are people like us who just care about good stories, without the influence of tick-box agendas being forced upon us through films, pop culture, comics, video games, and more. On the other side, bad actors are trying to influence everything we enjoy and consume, while we just want to be entertained.
