Guide Beauty: Universal Design & Inclusivity Through Innovation

from Business Beauty Network · host Brandi Taylor

Today in the hot seat we have Terri Bryant. Terri worked as a celebrity makeup artist and an educator creating programs for world-renowned prestige makeup brands for over 25 years. But her clients often lamented that learning the steps to applying makeup didn’t necessarily translate into being able to apply it with confidence. She knew there had to be a better way, but as a makeup artist, it was difficult to deeply appreciate what she had never experienced herself… that is until she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Terri now had the unique perspective of a makeup artist AND someone who struggled with her makeup. She worked closely with makeup users and a team of industrial designers and ergonomic experts to rethink makeup and develop a new, universally designed, patent-pending approach to applying it. GUIDE BEAUTY is a collection of makeup tools and products that reimagine the way we apply makeup. Achieve a new level of skill and confidence with makeup that literally GUIDES your hand to better application. “Support this podcast with small monthly donations to help keep this podcast going.” --> https://anchor.fm/bbnp/support Support the podcast with your T-Shirt purchase.  --> https://business-beauty-network.myshopify.com/ Connect with Brandi: https://www.instagram.com/iambranditaylor https://www.facebook.com/IamBrandiTaylor Email: [email protected] Website: businessbeautynetwork.com Book a free Beauty Pro Discovery Call Connect with Guide Beauty: https://www.guidebeauty.com https://www.instagram.com/guidebeautycosmetics/ Sponsored by: https://www.creativehairschool.com/
