In 2010, a shocking case unfolded involving Hamdiya and her lover, Hamada, who plotted the murder of her husband, Ali. Hamdiya had been forced into an arranged marriage, which left her trapped and seeking affection elsewhere. To maintain secret meetings with Hamada, she began drugging Ali daily with sedatives, slowly weakening his ability to resist.The situation escalated when Ali decided to take on local work, threatening to disrupt their illicit relationship. In response, the couple planned a calculated attack: during one of Ali’s medicated slumbers, they strangled him to death.
