Pergamos... A church that held tight the name of Christ...refused to deny the faith of Jesus Christ...and tolerated the false teachings of those in the church. Such is the case today in many of our churches. Today's messages deals with the doctrines tolerated then, and today.

  • How Jesus Wants Us to Rebuild the Church

    10/14/2020

Welcome to a brand new season on Real Life where I share a story I wrote about a young man who whose doubts, feelings of failure and struggles lead him on a identity journey that revives his faith. In between each chapter, I craft a conversation between what I imagine is happening in the spiritual realm.  On the show, I read for a few minutes and then interview my special guest to discuss what God is doing behind the scenes in our lives as He rebuilds the Church.  Today's special guest, Pastor Laurel Bunker gives us a Spirit-filled perspective of how Jesus wants us to rebuild the Church.  For more than 20 years Pastor Laurel Bunker has been a leader in the fields of higher education, non-profit business management, and church leadership and Para church ministry. A writer, sought after speaker and minister of the gospel, Laurel’s love for the Lord and for people has led her across the country where she ministers to thousands of people in a diversity of settings including  colleges and universities, churches, youth camps, national conferences and prisons. Pastor Bunker has contagious joy, and a boldness and passion for people and for Christ and His kingdom. She seeks to bring life, light and joy all.  Laurel and her husband, Joshua, make their home in Saint Paul, Minnesota with their two daughters, Naomi and Camile.
